Xuan Wang is a PhD candidate at the Department of French and comparative literature at Sorbonne University. Her research focuses on French literature of the 20th century, especially the works of Romain Rolland (1866-1944). Her current thesis is entitled ‘Romain Rolland, between France and China: admirations and misunderstandings’.  Xuan Wang is also a literary translator (Chinese-French, Tibetan-French) and a poet.
